How to Make a Pinwheel

Materials:

paper (pin wheel template)

scissors

split pin

crayons, textas or coloured pencils

straw

hole puncher

1. Colour your pin wheel template.

2. Cut out the template.

3. Cut on the four diagonal lines that led into the centre.

DON’T CUT ALL THE WAY TO THE CENTRE. STOP AT THE EDGE OF THE LITTLE SQUARE IN THE CENTRE.

4. Punch holes near the four black dots that are marked on your template.

5. Fold the corners so all the dots line up.

6. Put the split pin through the holes.

7. Attach the paper wheel to the straw.

8. Enjoy watching your pin wheel spin.
